Man Thanks 50 Cent After Posting Bail For Allegedly Pistol-Whipping Rick Ross' Son

Don Roberts, the 20-year-old suspect arrested following an alleged altercation involving Rick Ross' son William Roberts III, publicly thanked 50 Cent after being released from police custody on bond.

Roberts turned himself in to authorities in Daytona Beach on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The charges stemmed from an October 11 incident near Bethune-Cookman University. William Roberts III later identified Roberts in a photo lineup, though Roberts maintains his innocence.

Following Roberts' arrest, 50 Cent stepped in on social media to offer assistance, sending prominent defense attorney Drew Findling to assist with securing his release and handling legal representation.

In a video shared following his release, Roberts expressed gratitude to his family, supporters, and 50 Cent for believing in his innocence while the legal process continues. Neither Rick Ross nor his son have issued public statements regarding the ongoing case.
