Kevin Gates Ordered To Pay Over $1 Million From Music Profits To His Ex-Wife

Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates has been ordered by a judge to pay over $1 million to his former wife, Dreka, from his music sales as part of their final divorce settlement.

According to court documents, Gates must pay $1,079,341.50 from his music revenues. Dreka will receive $929,341.50 in child and spousal support, alongside a direct payment of $150,000. Additional court-mandated payments include $125,000 for Dreka's legal team, $100,000 for accounting fees, and $103,000 for mediation services. Gates will retain a lump-sum payment of $538,798 and will receive $225,000 monthly going forward.
The music royalty profits will be managed through a dedicated Morgan Stanley account supervised by CFO Robert Bracy and CPA William Duerksen. The couple, who share two children, were together for nine years before filing for divorce in 2025.
